    Resizing loaded .308 blanks?

Bought a bunch (10k) of Century's current .308 blank offering (Pakistani) and the cases are not feeding well and are jamming the gun (M53) by not feeding all the way into the chamber. Other .308 blanks (German and FN) feed fine.

There seems to be a fit problem up near the shoulder of the round, but I have not made detailed measurements yet to see exactly where the problem is.

I know nothing about reloading and was wondering if it is safe to resize the shoulder area of a loaded blank?

    Thanks,

    Tim

It is if you have a Redding Body Die, but not with a regular full length sizer.

Why not use a RCBS small base die without the guts in it?

Yes. Just remove the decapping pin assembly.
