    New to Reloading

Hello Everyone, I'm new to reloading so this may seem like a dumb question.

I purchased a "One Book/One Caliber" 223 reloading book. I noticed it has a section for AR's using Sierra Bullets under AR's Can I only use those loads under AR's?

So does that mean I can't use any of the other loads in the book?

Are chamber pressures that different from Semi Autos to Bolt guns?

I'm loading for a very old colt SP1 with a 1 in 12 twist 20" barrel so lighter is better for me right.

    Thanks
    Mark

Nope, you can use any load listed in the book in your AR. I would stick with the 50-55 grain bullet loads.

I'd check out an additional reloading manual as well. I have a few of those "One Book/One Caliber" jobs and I found more information in a complete reloading manual like the Lyman or the ABCs of Reloading.

      And welcome to reloading.

My suggestion is buy the book ABC's of Reloading and read it cover to cover. It will answer a lot of questions in this thread and your other threads.
