I'm going to be getting a new bench soon, as soon as I get that one up and running, I'll post some pictures. These look great IMO, I think some of you need to give yourself more credit.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

I got it at a garage sale years ago. I had it on my temporary setup, which was a metal door on 2 sawhorses. I had my press mounted on a piece of subfloor and the subfloor was clamped to the metal door. I put all of the ammunition that I had stored in ammo cans on top of the bench which added stability. It actually worked great as a temporary setup, I made alot of ammunition using that setup, but as my addiction for reloading grew I needed more room and when I moved I made this current bench and wish I would had done it a long time ago.
Ok Here Is an Estimate of Everything I used
(2) pieces of plywood $12.00
(1) pieces of subfloor $25.00
(14) 2x4's $35.00
(18) Metal Brackets $60.00
(6) "L" Shelf Brackets $36.00
(2) pieces of pine shelving $12.00
Lag Bolts & Screws $10.00
Hutch found at Garage Sale $10.00
TOTAL $200.00
I had most of this material siting in my garage (used to work for a general contractor) so it only cost me about half of this. There are ways of doing it cheaper like not using the metal brackets and cutting lap joints and gluing and screwing pieces of wood together but I didnt want to spend time making all of those cuts. I was also debating on buying the subfloor but I'm sure glad I did, having a heavy thick work surface aids in the stability of the bench. And when I say stable this thing will hold my fat but at 220lbs and 8 (5) gallon buckets full of brass, and wont flex at all. As stated before in this thread bolting the bench into the wall is key. I can grab anyone of the press's I have and push and pull on them and my bench does not move or shake AT ALL.Comment
