Very Nice Dave, I like it. That butcher block is sweet and I like the way you did the rectangular tubing too I have a bunch of leftover 3/4" Oak Flooring thinking about using it for a bench top maybe over a plywood base.

The frame is all 2x4s n there's a sheet of plywood under the butcher block. Spray painted all the wood flat black.

Looks really nice Dave. I like the cantilever idea- might work for my second bench and save me some space. Could you post a photo or two of the underside of the framing details?

I live in a room that's about 375 square feet so I had to make a table that would hold both my reloading gear and my sub would fit under. managed to get my controll box for the sub in there as well.

If you notice I had to notch the bar where the handle is. Mounted the press on the table and the handle bottomed out into the frame.

Very late to the party, but here's my (very humble) setup. I got the idea of mounting the press to a board that locks into the built-in vise grip of the workbench itself from another fellow on the Web who apparently bought the same Harbor Freight bench.

$25 bench I picked up from Craigslist. The thing is actually really stable due to some heavy steel supports. I was using it as a writing desk for a while until I realized it's potential as a reloading bench

Just set up this past weekend. Still a work in progress. I'm nowhere near the level of professionalism some of you have reached. The card catalog was in my grandmother's basement since I was a little kid and she didn't want it anymore, so it's now my bench. The thing is rock solid and perfectly level even on my sloped basement floor. It works great for storing components (except powder), tools, and extra pieces. The top drawer just left of the press is perfect to catch the finished rounds with just a flick of my finger. Hoping to finish setting up next weekend and start reloading!

Is it safe to have the reloading table next to the water heater? There is a flame in there if I remember correctly....

Probably not. It has a sheet of drywall for separation, but I'm making a fireproof containment for safety and to hide the ugly thing.

I'm also going to get a second water heater minus the heating element and plumb that in series so I always have 100 gallons of fresh emergency water.

Decided to scrap my existing table and start a new one. Finished it yesterday. Going to start mounting everything over the next few days.
