WOW... some nice set-ups for sure! I just built this small bench rather than buying some "made in China" prefabricated POS that would most likely fall apart after a few months. The wood cost under $30. I purchase a Lee Classic Turret Press kit, some digi calipers, a digi scale and some buckets for clean/dirt brass. Yesterday I posted my results for the first 50rds of .40s&w I made. All shot clean with the exception on one which had a bad primer. Just finished 250 more rounds this morning... lots of fun

Lol... the ones sitting on the toolbox are all the fresh stock. I'm guessing that I'll be going through a lot more of those now as well.

Do you have to lock the wheels to stop it moving when using the press?

I'm looking to build something similar for my press in the next two weeks and would like the ability to move it around easily.

Ian, I didn't put locking casters on the bench just because I already had spare casters laying around the garage. The bench doesn't move much at all during the reloading process. If I had to buy casters, I would have probably spent the extra $1-2 for a pair of locking casters though. Its very convenient being able a roll the bench out to the driveway a blow it down with the compressor if needed. My bench is 3' (L) x 2' (W). I bought one 4x8 and I think five 2x3 to frame it and build the legs.

Some nice benches here! Mine's nowhere near as fancy, but it does the trick. Have my little single stage off to the right on a smaller table.

Had everything on the floor for over a year. Dillon sitting in a box for 3 months just waiting for me to assemble it. This weekend finally got off my butt and got things organized. Found the desk on craigslist for $20, nice looking and solid. The metal shelving to the side was $50. All in all I'm very happy with things so far.

But man, sure is difficult to find primers in deep carpet...

Thanks and yes, I've got enough to last me a bit...but looking at some of the other stashes here I can see I'm not up to snuff just yet. I'll get there eventually!

Looks like you've got a good start. As a fellow newbie I'm going to say I hope you bought a bullet puller...whoever invented that is a genius! OH, and make sure the cotter pin is in the end of the primer pickup tube to hold them all in...don't be like me and dump a whole tube all over your carpet.
