IMR 8208 XBR ...Anybody try this yet ?

I have some coming in my most recent Powder Valley order ( They have the 1 pounders in stock ) and I was just wondering if anybody has tried this yet ?

It is supposed to meter extremely well , be extremely temp stable ...and in the few tests I have read online performed extremely well.

IMR 8208 XBR is a new powder to be released by Hodgdon in January, 2010. The powder is said to be extremely accurate, and Hodgdon believes it will set new standards for stability across a wide temperature range.

We interviewed Chris Hodgdon of Hodgdon Powder Co. and learned some important information about the IMR's new 8208 XBR powder. First Chris confirmed that ADI (Australian Defense Industries Ltd.) is the manufacturer. The powder is a very small extruded powder, similar to H322 in kernel size.

I will be loading up some 204 Ruger and .308 as soon as my order gets here

I will be, from all accounts it wasnt to be released until jan 2010...but a lot of places already have it in stock. It was really interesting though, 2 hours after I posted this Powder Valley sold out of the powder Graf still has it in stock as well as others.... http://www.grafs.com/product/294941

I will be doing hand metered loads as well as measure thrown loads...be curious to see how good the measure thrown loads will be...most have said it keeps to a tenth grain out of any powder measure ( I use a Redding match grade 3BR )
