Left in the Tumbler for 4 months....

I have the large Dillon tumbler using untreated corncob litter and the Dillon polish. Because of my work travel schedule, I completely forgot that I had a tub full of brass. Now after at least 4 months of sitting in there, they have developed blue stains, I fine steel wool a few and they come to a nice discolored shine. Smooth and polished looking, no pitting. Is there an easy way to clean these without having to hand steel wool all that brass?

      Brass

Try not worrying about it. I know it looks sightly, but it won't change what it does in the weapon. Load it and fire. Clean it up after and see what you have. Don't worry about what people will say if they see it. It's just a stain. Do better next time.

That is a very bad idea... Steel wool is flammable.

i had the same thing happen to a few rounds that i had in my recycle pile that had tumbler media left in the bag- i just tumbled the rounds again and now i just try and not cringe at the stain spots... no harm done though.
