im a freakin dumb ***..... i have a question far you all

i have been reloading .223 all day and then i switched to 40cal but i screwed up and used the same small benchrest rifle primers to load 70 40cal rounds before i figured out that im a idiot.... what are my options now??? can i use them or is the B/R primers to powerfull.... im thinking to just pull the bullets to hopfully reuse the bullets and maybe powder... help please and yes i see that i spelled "for" (far)

    .
Are you using Max loads? if you do not have any margin for error because you are maxed out you should pull them.

I use small rifle primers for my 5.7x28 loads but worked up the load from min loads till I got good accuracy without pressure signs. You already loaded them? It's not a good idea to shoot them because you might have excess pressure since you didn't work the load up! small rifle primers are supposed to burn hotter and might be unsafe in your particular loads. Just pull the components and re-use them,it's not worth the risk

              Yep, pull them.

Case capacity too small for that kind of pressure change. Dangerous!

If they are light loads, go fire one round and see if the gun blows up or if it feels normal.

It's fine if you're NOT shooting max loads.

I have decapped live primers and not had one go off yet.
I would not make a habit of it though.
Personally, I would leave those primers in, load the cases with a starting load and go shoot them.
