I suppose you would not take them, pull the bullets and reload?
You must think people who reload do not have common sense --
My last word -- I do not intend to get into a pissing contest with the self rightous.

      OP,

if I were you, I'd pull them apart and reuse the brass. And even then, I would be "iffy" about the primers used.

If there's one thing I have learned, it's never to shoot someone else's reloads...especially if you do not know them.

I'm not busting on anyones reloading skills, but time has taught me to trust no one. (Except my lifetime buddy & shootin pardner, whom I'd lay my life down for).

I also agree with TANKERMAN. It is not responsible to pass that on to someone else. Neither morally, or for profit.

As a shooter, practice what we preach - SAFETY!

And not knowing the reloader, nor how good his reloading notes were, is NOT SAFE.

      Shoot with a purpose.

Way to thorw that little caveat in, to cover yourself, after the fact.

Your "self righteous" comment is nothing more than an attempt to distract from your lack of common sense and irresponsible suggestions. Too bad it's not working.

I think you understood, but my comments in post #2 were purely joking and not serious. I think you caught that and understood. Just wanted to clarify to remove ambiguity.

I agree with Raymond. Do not take the chance. WE live in the state of a billion lawyers and gun hating politicans. If anything negative happens to someone else, you are taking your freedom and possessions in jeopardy.

Pull the bullets and deprime .
I would never shoot anyones reloads again but my own , There comes a time when we should stop reloading and the pic below is the result of a freinds reload and gun that I fired (no one was hurt). At age 83 and probally 60 years of reloading this was his last , after this he shot rimfire

Use a kenetic hammer to pull them apart.

Then, when you have the empty shells (sans bullet and powder), partially fill them with some WD-40 and let them sit for a day or two. This will disable the primers.

Then you can go ahead and deprime them for the brass.

Be careful, as some presses will push the primer out. ...but some presses may have the deprimer pin spring-loaded (I'm not 100% sure), and "snap" the primers out.

Just be aware of this, and be careful.

                  Shoot with a purpose.
