So I have about 6 LBS of tite wad powder left...I've read they've used it on 45auto at 2.5gr with good results. I was wondering if it would be safe for 40SW? like...say....1gr? haha, just need some super sub sonic rounds for pest/plinking for the wife while being safe..

I would go by what your manual(s) say. They should have some info on other applications. -
I'm prety sure my data said 2.5 grains for 185grain jhp 45 acp. Way to reactive. I have some 231 for trade? I'm in Stockton."It is plain and simple if our regular law abiding population is forced to be unarmed we will then fall victim to prey as those with arms will become our predators."Comment

You may want to see if someone will trade you for something that is more useful to you. I used to use tite wad but have enough stock of other similar powders that I didn't see a need to purchase any more of it. It's good for it's intended purpose.. light shotgun loads for target and light field use. 6 pounds at $12 a pound is quite expensive fertilizer.. especially when you can get a 1 cubic foot sack of chicken manure for about a dollar..Comment
