    Titewad other uses?

So I have about 6 LBS of tite wad powder left...I've read they've used it on 45auto at 2.5gr with good results. I was wondering if it would be safe for 40SW? like...say....1gr? haha, just need some super sub sonic rounds for pest/plinking for the wife while being safe..

I would go by what your manual(s) say. They should have some info on other applications.

I hear it can also be used as fertilizer.

You may want to see if someone will trade you for something that is more useful to you. I used to use tite wad but have enough stock of other similar powders that I didn't see a need to purchase any more of it. It's good for it's intended purpose.. light shotgun loads for target and light field use. 6 pounds at $12 a pound is quite expensive fertilizer.. especially when you can get a 1 cubic foot sack of chicken manure for about a dollar..
