    loading for an HK91

Has anyone used 3031 in a 308 for an HK91? I have a few pounds of 3031 and lake city brass, 150 grain bullets. If anybody has had any luck with this. I guess I was wondering about decent accuracy and also cycling reliably. what charge did you start off with?

    Thanks

it's a bit faster than the usual powders used.. mainly H4895, IMR4895, H4064, H335, Varget etc....I'd be leary of using faster powders with that delayed blowback...

so would that be better for 5.56 in an AR? My HK has a 16" barrel would that work? if it is a fast burner isn't 3031 better for a shorter barrel?
