The product reviews on Midway and Cabela's turned me off. About 90% of those who purchase in 2009 have problems.

Hornady has come out with one of these but it is too new for reviews. I guess I'll wait.

Bought mine when they first came out ('06 maybe). I use it at least once a week sometimes more. Its fast, accurate and IMHO I don't know why anyone would manually dump when this is available.

I use it to load everything from range fodder to 1000 yard match ammo.

From the reviews, those that bought in 2005 and 2006 have had good luck 4 or 5 out of 5 for the reviews. Something changed about mid 07 to early 08 as the reviews started to get bad.

Haven't read the rev's since way back when - the only problem that I have ever known of them (alot of the people I shoot with have them) is that when you use them you need to run the power through a surge protector as they are sensitive - once you do that no probelms. I personally have never experience this though all my electrics run through surge protectors.

I just bought one of these last week and got it in the mail other day...Set it up on the work bench and went to work....Loaded up 100 rds of 357....No problems....I'm going to be loading all weekend.....

I just picked up the chargemaster combo. I fricken love it. I used it last night to load some 308. Between this and the RCBS Trim Mate Case Prep Center it makes things so easy. I dont regret buying it one bit.

i hear that larger volume rifle cases can take up to 1 min to dispense... that being said, it would be beneficial to have another operation going (i.e. seating, polishing, whatever) while the next charge empties. buy it now dammit!

I use the RCBS Chargemaster for everything from .223 Rem to .50 BMG. For big cases I shorten the dispense time (and reduce wear on the motor) by partially filling the pan using a conventional powder thrower. The Chargemaster then only needs to top off the charge. It helps a lot for 50 BMG.

I have a minor complaint about the manual (lacks a detailed explanation of each button), and the system hangs up every once in a while after I cancel a dispense operation. Only remedy is to turn if off and on again.

Otherwise, I love it and find it a real timesaver if I set bullets between charges. I can change powders in about 2 minutes. The Chargemaster provides a total count of charges dispensed, which I compare with the number of loaded cases. Helps to catch a squib load.

It's a good idea to locate the Chargemaster on a heavy granite slab if you are going to do a lot of precision weighing.

Okay, my Chargemaster's keypad just went wacko and would not let me input numbers/decimal points properly. It's about two years old, and out of warranty, of course, but RCBS said they will fix it for $45. So I sent it off yesterday. Let's see how long this takes.

Mine just had the keypad replaced and I got it back the 24th IIRC. Works like a champ now. Maybe I'll get another 15k out of it before it goes TU again.
