        USGI AK Ammo

Checked Google and saw articles that said US Special operations did order and issue some during Vietnam. Could be same thing for Now. AMMO was marked WCC 98*****

Winchester? I've heard of them using it for foreign weapons familiarization here.

What did you pay for it? Are you willing to part with a box? If so, what would you want for it?

This intrigues me... just a box? Are you a collector? I am just curious as 20 bullets seems like a small amount to ask for. Just curious.

Not a real collector. I don't know anything about cartridge collecting but, the box sounds cool enough to put with a few other oddball boxes I have like, a box of 50BMG bullets (not loaded ammo) which were designed to test armor plate. I'm still not sure if they are just standard AP bullets or if there is something (other than the box) different about them.

                        USGI AK ammo

No, after checking the internet Isaw it is apparently rare so I bought it all.
I'm wondering what it is worth. I imagine more so for ammo collectors than just shooters.

All of it is the brown 20 rd boxs and I got the wooden crate marked the same way . This crate was old style with wood lid nailed closed and wood strips for reinforcement.

                          AK ammo

No I bought all he had and the wooden crate it came in that is US GI marked from 1998 with lot numbers an all.

I figured in was collector stuff

cool! If you have any boxes out of the crate, I'd like to see them! If interested in trading a box for a box (20 rd.) of Norinco soft point, magnetic ammo, let me know! Where are the pics???

There are such things. New production ammo for weapon training stateside by the USSOCOM groups.

Here are a few pictures i took while visiting a friend during a training session prior to deployment....
