See, there's your problem.
You are going to indoor ranges.
The longer you shoot, the more you will learn to dislike indoor ranges.
Think about the air in there.
Think about the unsafe public in there. (maybe you are one of them!)
Think about the shootings in indoor ranges.

Haha, that has a dark side too....you collect so much brass from cartridges you dont have a gun to fire them in...that you end up buying new guns just to shoot them with.
It never fails, spend all day at the range and someone with a Garand shows up and blows through 2 or 3 boxes of new factory ammo...when you end up with a bucket of 2K once fired 06 brass its your duty to buy a gun to shoot it with.
Same thing went for .223....ended up having so much of it I bought a barrel for my T/C Contender just to use it....ended up being an extremely accurate barrel.Comment

Even with todays prices, it's still WAY worth it....both money wise and the fun/accuracy factor. Just buying Unique and Varget in the 8 pounders , and throwing in 1 pounders of all the rest in one order and one hazmat fee keeps me shooting cheap really well.
And a few years ago, I started using more and more cast bullets in a lot of sizes...not just the pistol cartridges...saved even more. Also, it's a whole lot of fun when you are slinging some of the big boys downrange.....I was loading both of these yesterday and had to take a picture...the pistol round is a 45 acp with a 230gr Gold Dot hp

And yes reloading is worth.. But nowadays, you cant find anything in stock anymore.. Everyone and their mama is reloading now.. If you find an opportunity, go for broke!Comment

Wait, is this a problem?
I was once given a box of 357 magnum ammo that a customer left in a trailer at work.
You know that I had to go buy a gun to shoot that ammo so I could reload the brass right?Randall Rausch

I feel like this is happening to me. I have accumulated quite a bit of .40sw and .38 special brass and I don't have a gun to shoot them in. If a deal comes up for one of those calibers, I'm jumping on it just so I can reload themHaha, that has a dark side too....you collect so much brass from cartridges you dont have a gun to fire them in...that you end up buying new guns just to shoot them with.
