Another one gets bit by the reloading bug

I went to Bass Pro yesterday and dropped a little over $500 on reloading equipment.

I'm just getting started, and have heeded the advice of getting a single-stage press. Plus, I don't think I shoot enough to justify a progressive.

I picked up the Lyman Crusher II "Deluxe Expert Kit", Lyman "Twin Turbo" tumbler and green corn cob media, Dies, Shell Holders, Bullets, Powder....everything but the primers.

I was going to buy the Rock Chucker kit, but they were sold out. The only kits they had were a Hornady LNL Progressive, and the Lyman kit. I was sold on the Lyman, because it came with the 49th edition manual, a case trimmer, and a digital scale (which unfortunately got really poor reviews on Midway). The only thing missing from this kit is a reloading tray.

I'm not too sure how well the primer feeding devices will work...but I'll give it a shot.

I was up until about 1:30am mounting the press, getting the dies and powder measure all figured out, cleaning, de-priming, and resizing the cases that I've been collecting over the years, and just playing with, and getting familiar with all the tools.

Now, if only I could find some primers!!!

What do you hope to reload? Which primers do you need?
I might have a few to get you started...

For now, all I need is large rifle primers.

If you could spare just a few primers, I would be very grateful. I'm itchin' to load some rounds and head to the range...even if I'm only going with a single box of ammo.

I'm not fat on large rifle... but I'll give you 100 to get you started. Can you send primers through the mail?
        take care

As far as I know, it's HazMat, and USPS won't take it. I'm in Milpitas. I have no problem driving up to Oakland. Where would be a good place to meet? I'll definitely give you a few bucks for the primers.

Thanks a bunch for the offer!
