Recyclers will give you .05 a # and than sell it to someone else for 0.15-0.75 a # depending on what type of lead and quality it is

Good lead casted into ingots goes for about 1.00 a pound or less

This is just what I have found in my area the prices seem to change from state to state as well.

My question is how much lead does someone need for a lifetime?????

850 pounds. 124gr x 100 rounds a month x 12 months x 40 years. IMO

How much does a cubic foot of lead weigh? Just trying to visualize how much 850 pounds is.

A cubic foot of lead weighs 708 lbs at room temperature.
