    Load-X Ammunition Company

Came across this company, located not that far from me:

Are they on this board, or does anybody know them? I did a search but it didn't return anything.

Sure - they are at most guns shows and have a good product. I've mentioned in a previous thread about only having one problem with them - 7mm Rem Mag - my rifle didn't like it - but that is the only issue I've had.

Other side of the coin here. Their .45 JSWCs are not the correct OAL compared to any reload data that i have seen yet and fail to feed in multiple 1911s. Mine and others. Also have seen firsthand others have squibs due to low or no powder loads. I stayed away from them even before i started reloading after trying their SWCs.

I have shot thousands of Steve's rounds in: .40, .45, 38-40, 30-30, .38 sp and have never had a dud or a throwaway (dents, etc). Good to Go IMHO.

Load X is a small Nor Cal company, now managed by the 2nd generation.

Their handgund reloads are decent for the price. I think they still go to the local shows and may even buy back your brass.

Worth supporting a local small business. I get my 38sp from them vs loading these any more.

              Just across town for me
I shoot their .45 ACP and never been let down. Ammo is cheaper with brass trade in.

They make good stuff. My local range used to sell them and i've shot just about every popular pistol cal they reload and had zero problems.

I've traded brass towards & for loaded ammo. Good stuff, never a problem!
