    Simple Question

Hello folks, I am positive my story is not unusual these days but I thought after getting into reloading, getting my tools and reading/researching, I think I am ready to begin. Having done some searching for components and having no luck, I thought i'd shoot out a simple question here. Are there local CA retailers that you may be able to find powder/bullet/primers from? Or, am I pretty much restricted to hunting online? Thanks in advance...

      this.

I personally buy my primers via members on calguns, powder from them too or in local stores (due to hazmat fee), and casings/bullets from calgunners or the internet (no hazmat fees)

your simple question is very difficult to answer without knowing where you live.

Also, which components (which primers, powder, etc.) you are looking for. Some components are tough to find regardless of where you live, and some can be found more in one area than another depending on the quality and type of shops available in your area.

Provide more detail and the fine folks on this forum will be there to help.

Everything is available just 4 miles down the road.
Make a left, then two rights, pass the telephone pole with the shoes hanging fron the lines and then stop at the 4th shop on the right.
The guy will have everything you need.

The good thing is that the place is close to both of us.

That's probably why they have such good deals.
I need to find out which one of the exit doors gets me to the future so I can buy that sports records book and a hoverboard...

heck why not go back with what you know now and tell yourself to invest in stocks (late 90's) houses (mid 2000') and ammo (currently)

                              where to buy stuff?

                              Hi Guys,
Very funny; down the street a bit and to the left after the shoes bit.

I started reloading this year. I buy primers, powder, bullets all over the place. Gun show, gun shops, gun broker, dig around stuff is available. The only product I bought online was powder. But there is enough now at the shops.

                              Good hunting,
