I just run mine through a neck sizer to true up the necks and mouth'Just Don't Point, Squint, and Laugh! '

I do because throughout the years of reloading I have seen new brass with non-concentric necks due to rough shipping or handling. So if some are so obvious that i can see I always wonder how many are just slightly off that it could make a difference. So my rule of thumb now is to just neck-size them, rather safe than sorry.

Polish the crap out of it. Get all the residue off it. Your dies will like them better. New brass is kind of "sticky" in the dies.Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
