Unfortunately, they are the newbies that have no prior experience with ammo prices.
Since they are so new, they consider 50 cents a round for 223 and $1.00 for 308 as just "normal".
They don't comprehend why long-time shooters are complaining.

Imagine if you were 16 this year and just starting to drive.
You would see gas for under $4 and think "wow", that's alot better than last year.
As you were not thinking about driving when you were 12, you were not watching gas prices back then.

then i got my car in 2004 and i was like damn.... since prices were in the high $2 mark.

no clue... haha i wasn't into guns yet. only cars. didn't even start looking at gun stuff until high school. so by that time prices were already on the rise. and i didn't even get a gun till 2009.... (not b/c of obama) but i finally had money saved up and knew i was ready for it.

This is not a thread about outing people, it is a discussion about how people reselling for the purpose of making a profit is hurting our sport.

I never asked you to out people, I was asking for examples of what YOU thought were "gouging" for me personally just to understand your perspective a little bit better. I haven't seen much but solid sales that are maybe a few bucks higher than I could buy online. I appreciate the guys who sell here and don't just horde it as they're keeping us guys in the sticks shooting. Again, no wal-fart here and am kinda glad about it as it just drags down the people as a whole IMO. You can't compare EVERY sale to wal-mart prices either. I seriously would like to see some of your personal ideas of those who may be gouging and I won't be "outing" anybody at all.

yep and it sucks.... if i had known earlier or had more supportive parents in me taking up shooting... would probably been able to get "high-caps" and lots of ammo before the all these bans came into play.

How about the people who bought ammo a few years ago when the price was much lower, and selling at the current going price now? Are they gouging also? Or, should they sell at the price they paid for?

Last I knew it was still America and anyone can sell whatever he wants at
whatever his price. If it is too high it won't sell...to normal folks anyway.

The Dumbarse that doesn't do his homework may buy it, so what??

People these days are starting to look at other folks as their financial stymulus
packages, Caveat Emptor has taken on a more serious meaning anymore.
