New Brass

How many times can you re-load new brass before it gets too old if your shooting it out of the same rifle each time, and would you need to trim it down each time before a reload or do you just check the tolerances before each load. Shooting out of a .223 CMMG 16" carbine.

Any decent reloading manual should discuss this topic. There is no set number of reloads it really depends on how much the brass is worked by firing and resizing. Semi autos require full length sizing and thus decrease case life.

Depends on cartridge, type of sizing, pressure level, trim frequency.

I get about a dozen loads from .223. 90%+ pressure, FL sizing, never both trimming.
