FLOATING DIE TOOL HEAD?

Hey folks,

does anyone have any feedback on the FLOATING DIE TOOLHEAD?

I PMed someone here a few times about this a while back (with a few other questions), but never got a response.

Anyone have any first-hand experience with this?

Anyhoo...I posted this very same question on another well known website, and from what I have read, it may be an incredible tool for my XL650..

I am considering this FLOATING DIE TOOL HEAD for my .223 set-up, and possibly for a .308 set up.

Just wanted to close this thread with useful info...and not leave it open without a response.

I use the floating tool head die. Works well. Plus it gives you the ability to use your progressive press like a semi progressive by being able to throw your own powder weights. Works well with a Lyman auto scale and 22-250. Still able to load 200-250 rnds per hr. I use this in conjunction with the pin elimination kit for the plate. No complaints. Rounds are very consistent

I combined the floating head die with the http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/product/T1230 from uniquetek. Check it out.

I went ahead and ordered the floating die tool head, and the lock rings. I'll post the results when I receive it.

Brain Enos forum has great reloading tips especially for Dillon products. One tip I picked up was using the Lee factory dies over others crimp dies. I have had great results and very consistent ammo since using the dies. I reload for .223 for both bolt action and ar's. I use the same ammo to fire in both action types and the ammo that I have been producing has worked very good in both types.
