    RCBS Customer (non) Service?

Wow, what has happened to RCBS customer service? Phone is busy all the time and if you do get through, you are like 15th or 17th in queue.

Is this just another case of a great company being bought by a mediocre one and then reduced to crappy?

I had the same thing happen a couple months ago. I finally got through and didn't know which version of the press I had. I had to call back and wait all over again. Anyway, FWIW, when I did get through, their CS was second to none! I received a new owner's manual and parts for a press they no longer make. All for free!

I just submit my requests through their website.
I usually get an email a day later and parts 2 days later.

I'll have to go back and look again. I didn't see a contact email option last I looked.

        edit: found it, thanks

I have had great experience dealing with RCBS over the phone. Everything has been as stated delivered when stated.

Granted they are 5 minutes away from my house, I have never had anything but fantastic service even when the problem was user created.

I've had good experiences with RCBS every time I try to order parts for dies like expander ball/decapping rods....they send them for free along with extra pins. Even got a free shell holder #45 for 5.7x28 fn, they didn't have the dies so they let me have the shell holder for free! Thats pretty good customer service

halifax, Everyone in the gun industry is busy these days. I have always had great service with RCBS. They even replaced a 35 year old depriming stem I stepped on and bent at no charge including S&H! Now that is customer service and I am a loyal customer.

I would think with the economy people are cutting back in areas and customer service might be one. Although they could also be that busy or you got them at the wrong time and day. The 1 time I called RCBS for customer service was an A experience for me.

I, too, have always had excellent experiences with RCBS. That is why this time I'm so disappointed.

RCBS, DILLON and RUGER = #1 customer service. Have delt with all 3 and nothing but good things to say. Did have 1 issue with LEE but the operator on the 2nd call made it right.

I have to say that I had a good experience with RBS too. Got a benh mounted priming tool second hand. It was missing the 2 priming rods. I did wait on hold for 10 minutes but they knew what I needed and sent them for free. Great service
