Is winchester still the price/quality ticket for .223 and .308 or is someting else come along?

For long range precision? Lapua hands down.

For blasting / plinking buy whatever is cheapest.

For precision Lapua is the best. Winchester is second. I'm leery of RP brass because the last bunch I bought the primer pockets weren't deep enough. The primers on ALL of them stuck out a pretty fair amount. Reaming primer pockets on 200 pieces of brass is a pain in the A.
