How do you guys carry your ammo?

I have recently started reloading and need to find a good way to carry my reloads to the range. Last time I used ziplock baggies and that made a mess when I got home. What do you "seasoned professionals" suggest or better yet what do you use?

ETA....this would be for a few hundred rounds of .38 special.

Ammo cans with the zip lock bags inside. depending on the load Ive also used plastic boxes that are marked with the specs on the round I'm shooting.

Really...I thought that would be sort of impractical, I guess I will buy some more ammo cans next weekend at the fun show.

          Plastic Ammo Boxes

Ammo boxes are what I use. You can find them REALLY cheap, like 2 or 3 dollars each.

This type is a little more expensive:

I have a cool old british ammo box. It's wood with rope handles and the lid 'pins' on. I carry my smaller stuff in that (like if I'm going to shoot just a few hundred rounds of that calliber). I find it pretty handy.

Frankford Arsenal ammo boxes through Midway. Very cheap with C&R discount. I put the ammo boxes in a military ammo can when stored at home or transporting to range.

I do the same here. Buy them in cases of 10 boxes each.

Here's the ones that work for .38:

I buy red for one caliber, blue for another, and smoke for another. then the same for rifle sized boxes, so you can just identify them by color quickly.

I use discarded factory ammo boxes that people toss at the range.

Berry's Manufacturing http://www.berrysmfg.com/ manufactures plastic ammo boxes and sells direct on their website. They sell in 4 packs and 9mm and .38/.357 50 round boxes are $1.44 ea. in the 4 pack, and $0.77 ea. in the 50 pack. 100 round boxes are $2.36 in the 4 pack, and $1.64 in the 50 pack. I bought a 50 of 9mm and of .223, and a couple of 4 packs of .308 a couple of years ago, and have no complaints. I also use some Dillon boxes that are very good, they sell 50 round boxes for $1.33 ea./$9.50 per 10/$43.00 per 50. 100 rounds boxes are $2.16/$16.20/$70. As soon as I get a count, I am going to order some more. I tried the baggies, baggies in a box, you name it, pain in the butt. I sometimes order Cabelas bulk ammo, and that comes with the big geen plastic ammo cans (used to be genuine surplus steel cans). They are great for packing the different caliber plastic boxes in and keeping it straight.

.30 cal surplus ammo cans if im shooting alot, if im just going to the range for a 1/2 hour than i toss a couple of handfuls of rounds into ziplock bags.

For storage, you can't beat the convenience of military ammo can. I just dump whatever I get (my own reload or factory ammo) into them and label them accordingly. Couple cans of 9mm, couple cans of .45, few cans of .223 and few cans of .308 mil surp.

Traveling to range is a different story (ever try to carry a .50 can full of .45? My advise would be: don't do it). Most of time I just load up the mags before I go. When I am done with all the ammo in the magazine, I pack-up and go home. That usually means: 150rd of 9mm, 100rd of .45 and 200+ rounds of .223.
