    Norma 205

I have looked but can't find any load data for this powder.

anyone have an idea where I can find data for 30.06 (205 might be to slow) or .243?
Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

My old quickload stops at 204.
        Is 205 a newer powder?

I just got the latest QL update, but I have not installed it yet.

            I just found this:

Looks like Norma N205 might be Rottweil R905.
I'll look for that tonight if someone bumps this thread later tonight to remind me...

My QL says that 63 grains of R905 generates 61000 PSI in the 30-06. 59gr makes 48000 PSI, 60gr makes 51000 PSI, 61gr makes 54000 PSI, 62gr makes 57000. So, it may be that N205 is R905.

I don't think you could get 63gr in the case under a 180gr bullet.
QL predicts that load to fill the case to 112%.

r905 appears to be too slow and bulky to be used with 180gr bullets in the 30-06.
It would probably be a good magnum powder.
