    Thinking of going another route.

I purchased a RCBS rock chucker awhile ago and have been using it to reload for my precision rifles, Well now with my AR's and pistol's I have been shooting faster than I can reload. I'm thinking of going with a progressive set up, My question is does it cost more can I still load some precision rounds? Might Rockchucker might be up for sale anytime soon .

RCBS makes an additional option for their single stage presses to upgrade to progressive (called the piggyback)... If I had the money I would do it. Here's some links.

The the Rockchucker and get a Dillon. I have the 550b and it is pretty nice. If you can afford it get a nicer one. They are so much faster then a single stage. They both have their place though.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I have a piggback and the priming system sucks big time, I hand prime all my reloads. But for what I paid for the piggyback I would get it again in a hart beat.

I sagest you keep the Rockchucker and add a progressive press to your loading bench. U will still have a use for that press, I still do. I also started on a Rockchucker and moved to a Dillon 650, and now I am loading shotshell, I started with the Lee Load All 2, now thinking on upgrading the shotshell press.

This is the exact reason I bought a dillon 650 first. I knew I was going to grow into it and I'm glad I listened to someone who didn't.
