Buy this initially and read it if this is your first time before you buy anything else:

You need to do some reading before you jump into it. However, this is a good starter set. Better than the 50th anniversary one imo because of the auto prime. Plus it gives you a set of shell holders in many calibers.
The only thing else that you need are a set of dies. Get the pacesetter dies if you are reloading for a autoloader(ie AR15). Get the deluxe dies if you are reloading for a bolt action. The reason being that the pacesetter comes with a crimp die that you need for autoloaders. The deluxe kit comes with the neck collet die instead which you won't need for an autoloader.
Another item that you will need is a case length gauge for the .223 cartridge. It helps you trim your cases to an uniform length (about 1.753-1.754). Then go to harbor frieght and pick up a digital caliper. I use the 6" one and it works very well.
Those three things are a must-have to get started that are sold seperately from the kit. However, down the road when you are comfortable, you should look into a digital scale and also a lube pad. It definately speed things up.Comment
