    Help on Spam Cans

I have some spam cans I need info on. I do not want to open them.
    I have 4 that should be 7.62X54.
I have one in a can that I believe is 7.62X38
I have 2 "battle Packs" of what I think is 7.62X39.I can see Ubungspattare M-39--Ub and 7.62 on a paper in the sealed plastic bags.
    I know they are corrosive.

What I need to know is are they what I think? Steel case? How many in each?
And the last thing is what are they worth??
I found them when digging into reloading stuff and had forgotten them. Due to my cancer I will probably never shoot them so I was thing about selling them.

Sorry to hear of you having cancer, I'll be praying for you.

That said, I too had to ID spam cans back around 09 or so. I had found several sites via a google search and was able to ID them all.

Have you tried that route as yet?

The chinese Type 56 is 7.62x39. I don't know how many are in a can.
The Ubungspatrone is Practice Cartridge for the E. Germans, and probably 7.62x54R since it's for the PKT and PKM. It's probably 20 pieces (20 st?ck) per box.
The rest are 7.62x54R in cans of 440 each.

You should assume all of them are steel cased and corrosive.

Sorry to hear about your fight with cancer, may you stay strong and healthy. Where are you located? I?m sure someone can help financially by taking the cans off your hands
