Okay, I'm not sure what your asking. To start, buy a couple reloading manuals and watch some videos on YouTube..
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

YouTube is great. Buy some manuals if you weren?t given them and read them as well. Once you have more specific questions come back and ask them.

Missing some information there buddy. What press do you have? What dies? What ammo are you trying to reload? Shell plates? Powder set up? As mentioned, grab a reloading book for load data and open up the YouTube app to see your press being set up and used.

          Start here:

Read through all the first chapters before the actual reloading data.
The information on all the reloading steps as well as how to setup your press are all in there.
After that, if you need some in-person hand holding, you need to tell us roughly where you live to see if there is someone nearby.

Until you have actually read through a manual, you are not going to be able to ask the right questions so start with reading the manual.
Most Youtube videos leave out the important big picture stuff that you need the most to start with as the people making the videos are not as good of teachers as the writers of the paper manuals.

Lots of people willing to mentor. Where are you located? And as stated above--read and read. Me---I am very tactile so I need a mentor to walk me through things so when I read the manuals I understood what they were talking about. You cannot beat the value of a mentor. You come in this group without doing your homework and providing better information you will get torn apart to your ankles!!! Welcome and good luck!!!

I also want to add---after I got destroyed here I had a couple people get in touch with me--mentored me and set me on a great reloading career. When I had a problem with 30-30 I came here and there are people on this site who can write dissertations on any caliber in the book. Stay after it and show people you are taking the steps and you will get great help here!! Lot of knowledge here with some of these cantankerous old timers.

Couple guys on YouTube do at length tutorial for a single caliber. What you want to load vs what tools you have ready togo vs what components you have ready freddy. The Hogdon magazine at many supermarkets is one way to get started plus the data books, new or used.

                  Seek personal guidance.

Until then...Keep the equipment and supplies stored properly, and keep everything clean and dry...Out of the hands of unauthorized people.

Reloading as a hobby can be interesting and rewarding. But you do need to take all the safety precautions seriously. No doubt there are
some OGs near you who will personally show you the reloading ropes.

All of these questions answered would help a lot.

But it really boils down to a few basic questions.

                    Pistol, rifle, of shotgun?

                    Single stage or progressive?

                    Brand of machine?

IF you can answer each of these, you can find a youtube video for that particular question.

"How to reload a 38 special, in a RCBS rock crusher?"

But read some reloading manuals and see if you have a friend who reloads and just watch him.

Another word of caution, don't reload too many at a time, incase you mess up, you either throw away your work or have to disassemble them.

Just mention your location and watch the offers of help roll in.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

Lyman Reloading Manual and READ it. That will answer 90%+ of your questions.
If you live near me I would be glad to help you. I have been reloading since the 1960's and presently have a RCBS RC and a RCBS Jr press I also have a Dillon 650XL for 9mm Luger and 45ACP. I also have a Hornady 50BMG set up.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
