    AR 45 ACP Load info?

In the process of building a AR 45 ACP.
Looking for load info, in particular 230 grain weight bullets to start.

What powders do you have on hand? With an AR PCC start off with round nose right off the bat. Truncated cone profiles could hang up if your forcing cone is shallow

One of my standard loads for 45ACP is a 200 SWC over 8gr of AA#5. That gives me 850fps out of my CZ97B. I just do range shooting up to 25 yards.

I recently bought a Hi-Point 4595 carbine and I have been shooting the same load. No problems at all and I get 1050fps. I guess the 4595 is similar to an AR version but don't really know.

For .45ACP, 230gr, RN bullet, I have been used 4.5gr, Titegroup. It works for me.

loads that function my 45s work just fine out of my ar45. RN is the best. FPs and swc work but sometimes hit the hood of the chamber and they need a nudge to fully chamber. could be an OAL issue but i ran out of those bullets so i never investigated.

Finally got a chance to play with T-Group.
I tried the 4.5gr and got spradice FTFs. Upped it to 4.8gr and runs like a top plus very accurate.
Just got a 11.5" DI upper to play with.
