Help ID'ing Press...

Howdy, all. I am just getting into reloading and was recently gifted some old equipment. Have not been able to identify this press. Was hoping the brain trust might recognize it and have some relevant info (any noticeable missing parts, overall impressions, recommendations, etc.). Seems like it needs a little TLC, but otherwise is in great working order...very smooth operation, heavy/stable, etc.

Looks like a Hollywood press, maybe.

Looks a lot like an old Texan.

Looks like the handle was acquired from a Texan progressive shotshell press.

I have a friend with many years of reloading experience coming over to help me assess. Maybe we'll do a teardown and try to clean it up. Really hoping it's a "Gen 2" Texan that takes standard shell holders, for obvious reasons.

I love the action on the press. Hoping I can make it work, because it's a marvelous piece of engineering and machining with a lot of character...

Both are clearly marked "Texan", with numbers "8" and "12", respectively. The shaft of the unmounted holder is 0.5" in diameter, and the base measures 0.56" on my calipers.

The press pictured in the first post looks to have a standard shellholder in it.
I can see the C spring that holds the shellholder in place.
