Rich's Primer & Powder Alert Thread....

In an attempt to help folks out, here's my alert thread to let you know when I find primers & powder available at a great price.

On powder, Freedom Gunworks has Varget in stock and ready to ship. He also stocks pretty much every powder from Vihtavouri, Alliant (Reloader powders) and Hodgdon (he's got 4895 and 4831 in stock too!). Check the website for stock, but also confirm with a phone call.

On primers, Freedom Gunworks just got a big shipment of Wolf primers in. Currently in stock at $30.00/k he has Small Pistol, Small Rifle and Large Rifle. For those that don't know about the quality of Wolf primers, the Large Rifle in particular are on par with Federal 210 Match primers. A little known rifle shooter named David Tubb swears by them.

He also has Federal GMM small pistol primers at $34.50/k.

Bobby ships and he will ship to CA.

Big shipment of Wolf primers would be like Wideners got and were selling for days.......looks like they got a much, much small shipment and sold out. Bummer!

On the primers, yep, they sold out yesterday. 80k gone in a couple of hours.

He's got more coming though (200k).

On the powder, without going in to great detail, I can tell you that he's not making more than $5-10 on the powder.

Just getting a gauge of things...do you guys appreciate these alerts? I have a means to get you guys another 20k of small pistol/rifle primers. Working on it though.

Also, Wideners has a butt load of Wolf primers in stock at good prices as well. For those that don't know the quality of Wolf, a little known rifle shooter named David Tubb uses them.

Got an alert from my Dad.

Guns Fishing & Other Stuff in Vacaville has CCI and Federal primers at $40/k. Not great, but even with sales tax that's close to shipping and hazmat if you but like 2-3k. According to him, the CCI's were selling and they had A LOT of Federals.
