How do you Separate your media?

How do you Separate your media? I'm getting tired of pouring out each shell. I hate it when I have 300+ shells.

I found a Media Separator online for like $35

But I really don't want to spend that much if I do not have to, what do you use do you have any other ideas or have one you want to sell to me for less?

I'v been considering that one as well. Sportmans warehouse in Rocklin has a few of them. I have no idea how good they work but its got to be better and faster than the separator pan over the 5 gallon bucket I've been using

I use a sifter and a 5 gallon bucket. I used two medias though, so dumping it out is needed anyways.
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

        media seperator

I bought one of these locally but you can get it at midwayusa.com fits right on top of your average joe bucket and let gravity do its thing. When most of the media is out just swirl around the cases and shake the bucket back and forth. And cheap!!

Funny side note, everytime I call Dillon they always say, "I cant believe someone in San Francisco owns a gun." Jokers.

I have the Frankford Arsenal one from Midway and it works OK. If I could do it over again, I would pay a little extra and get the RCBS one. It's a lot better if it's fully enclosed rather than opened at top. You greatly limit the amount of dust that gets in the air which ends up in your lungs and it also prevents a lot more spillage of media over the sides.
