Lee 4000 Progressive shell plate won?t advance

So I bought a lead 4000 aggressive reloader
Set it up in the garage decided I?d really take my time learning each phase.
The unit worked fine shell plate advanced to each station.
when I finally decided to get going?..the shell holder plate stopped advancing.
I had another shell holder plate for a different caliber put it on.
Same thing it would not advance.
I took out the long, slender piece in the middle, looks fine
looked at everything I could think of I see no reason why it won?t advance.
Obviously I?ll call Lee tomorrow when they?re open.
Just curious if any others had encountered something like this?

Do not use lee stuff. But do you think you will get a better answer with two same posts??

Have a look on YouTube. Type in the name of the press and the problem (try not to be too wordy), you may find a video, either specific or generic, that will be helpful.

The middle rod must be locked (won't turn) and HOLD DOWN to the notch by the #4 die. Did you check that ?
Edit: I never had this problem with Lee Progressive 4 dies press.

OK I am officially the dumbest man in Riverside County.
Not only do I post the same post twice but…
I took out the number 4 Die to make sure I knew how everything worked
……no I didn’t put it back in so it wasn’t holding the flat rod down
went out to the garage and put it in and it works fine.

That’s why it was nowhere to be found on the YouTube videos
I guess everyone but me knew die #4 has to be in

Oh well lessons learned the hard way are never forgotten
            Thanks newbie1234

Hahahaha, If you use three dies set then :
              - Slot 1 - Resize die.
              - Slot 2 - Flare die (and Autodrum Powder Distributor).
              - Slot 3 - Open (or power checker die if you use Autodrum Powder Distributor).
              - Slot 4 - Seat & Crimp die.

Bought a pro4000 labor day(sales) with .223 die set included.
Same problem you had I blew 30min on.
                Shrugging - happens.
