    Today's Fun Game

First person to explain this round gets a gold star.
What kind of round is it?
What gun shoots it and causes the crushed head and weird ring?
There were several of these in a 5 gal bucket of regular LC once fired cases.
    Headstamp is Lake City 1985.

M852, that canelure on the case came from LC that way

kind of gun? obviously a crappy one if it pinches the neck like that

on a serious note, owner must've cut the neck since it was at the end of its life, didn't want somebody picking them up and reloading them

I think the millitary put the cannalure on the case to differentiate it from battle ammo.
It was loaded with a hollow point bullet so it is not legal in war.

I have some LC .308 Match cases with cannalures on the case that look almost like that.

That's an M200 blank as denoted by the cannelure on the case.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

would've sworn it was M852, but took a 2nd look at the picture to compare the scaling compared to your fingers

Well, I'll be dog-goned...I never knew 5.56 had any cases with the "cannalured" ring on them.

BTW, page 208 shows the 7.26x51 M852 cases it "looks" like.

Do you really want the case head diameter? Or can I just tell you its a 5.56 case?
