The Hornady 55gr has a very good track record for decent accuracy versus some other lower-cost projectiles. Sure, the other cheap ones will hit the target at 100yds, but at least you know the Hornady 55 will still be decently accurate at 200 or 300yds.

If you just want plinking stuff American Reloading has pulled 55 and 62 for $80/K.
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

I havent been able to better my Hornady 55 gr FMJBT load substantially with 75 and 69 gr bullets.

I think I will settle on a very good 62 gr bullet and just standardize all my ammo.

        Will check out AR.

The Hornady VMAX 55gr bullets make one hole groups out of my Savage.
