Ive seen it in many industries. When merchants wanna reduce inventory without affecting the price, they will MAKE products available as blems. Ive bought a turntable at 30% off and the only issue was the outside box was scratched. Car co.s will have their employees put miles into new cars to sell them used.

6 cents for 9mm FMJ is high? The 223 is just a tad higher than what I used to pay for 4000 case Hornady 55 gr.

I agree though that prices will keep going down.

The Midway blems @ .16? ea. for the .224" 77 OTM is not a bad price. They are likely Nosler CC's. There's a couple of others that are not too bad.

A year or two ago, I bought some midway blems that were Federal 140 .357" HST's. I bought 500 of them. I'm sorry I didn't buy more. You can occasionally, you can get a good deal, but you have to be quick because the good ones sell out quickly.

I ordered 2k of those a few weeks ago. They are excellent. I didn't see any discoloration at all in my lot.

AM blems have always been pretty good. very hard to find the flaws. ive ordered well over 20k bullets from them in the past. all have been good. i recently ordered 3k of their 223 55grn bullets and 3k of the 147 9mms blems. all of it looked new and have shot like new bullets

BUT be wary of their other stuff like pulled bullets or damaged cases. those can range to alright to basically unusable. i got burned on a bunch of 9 that were pulled bullets. all were undersized at standard seating depth and had less than finger pressure neck tension. like 5% were too small and would just fall to the bottom of the case. managed to salvage 5k bullets by seating them deeper than my usual load and actually put a crimp on them to hold the bullet and they finally shot decently.
