I?m having trouble resizing the brass, when I pull it up onto the die, the brass is getting stuck, a few of them are getting lodged in there and I have to punch them out. What can I do to fix this problem

What kind of lube are you using?

have you tried imperial sizing die wax? I used both Hornady case lube and imperial, and got stuck case here n there with Hornady, but don't recall any with imperial sizing die wax.

I use Frankford Arsenal spray lube. Works well. It sounds like you aren't using enough lube. Lube the outside, and use a round brush with lube on it inside the case neck. Something like this: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1012942855?pid=672826

Now, what kind of brass are you doing? If it's Military Surplus, remember a lot of it is fired in machine guns with oversized chambers. Which may require more effort, and defiantly must be well lubed, in order to get sized.

Yes some 308 will defiantly feel like it does not want to go in or out without good use of lube. Learned that the hard way a few times. Liberally and follow the directions. I use Hornady one shot and you must give it 5 mins to work. And don't let it sit in the press a long time.

Use case lube.

Rifle reloading is not the same as pistol reloading and is a lot less forgiving

I use Hornady spray lube. I literally stand all the cases up on end on a cookie sheet and point the spray downward 30-45%. I can rotate the tray to be sure to get adequate coverage and the downward angle ensures some of the spray hits the inside of the neck.

I started doing this after getting a few 223 cases stuck. I was just spraing them laying down and rolling them thinking I was getting good coverage. Apparently not.

Standing them all up sounds like a slow tedious process but I've never have had a stuck shell since.

Remove the expander ball! It causes more issues. Use imperial wax as well. Sounds like your using mixed brass. If it's all from your rifle it should be consistent

OP, the solution to your next problem is either trim every case or get the lee factory crimp die. I do both.

Sooner or later you are going to want to read the first 150 or so pages of a published reloading manual and then you will solve problems you didn’t even know you had.

DO NOT remove expander ball from stem. I is needed to make uniform neck size and tension. The die makes the case neck slightly smaller than specks and the expander makes them uniform. This is especially true with brass having different wall thickness.

I do not waste time standing cases up. I put them all in a big zip lock and spray some into it then shake. I find that this saves time and saves spray. 50 at a time then add and spray. The key is waiting 5 or more minutes. Haven't removed the ball, haven't had stuck cases.
