    300 Ham'r First Loads

I'm starting to load my first 300 Ham'r loads for an AR style rifle. Hodgdon site list a 150gr SFT AF FN with a minimum of 18.5gr of CFEBLK. Does this data sound safe for using with a 150gr Hornady Fmjbt? I did a dummy round and the cannelure would would sit beneath the case mouth at 2.255". Or should I go with the data Wilson has on their PDF for 150gr Speer boat tail SP at min 23.2gr CFEBLK with a coal of 2.255?
    Thanks,

I have loaded some Ham'r loads(125gr, 150gr, 130gr), used data from Wilson's site, all with no problems. I used the bullets they recommended on that page and haven't really looked into any others.

There is a Texas hunting forum that Bill Wilson visits regularly and will answer questions about different loads and bullets...

I just stick to the load data on the Wilson site. But that's just me...

Thanks, I appreciate it. I think I have some 125gr Speer tnt, I'll try that.
