    AR-Comp and 62gr fmj

Hey fellas, I haven't been able to find any data for this load.

I'm using starling 5.56 brass. #41 primers, AR-Comp powder and Hornady 62gr FMJ projectiles. My fuzzy math says 24.0-24.2 to start.

Does that sound right to you?

    Thank you

    They list
    55gr with 25.6
    68gr with 23.4

So at your ~24gr sounds like a good starting load could work up to 25 easily.

          Thanks brother....

I got my granddaughter to help me download the Hornady manual off of Amazon tonight.

Wish I did this years ago

How long does your 62gr Hornady FMJ bullet measure?
            Is it a boattail like a typical 55gr FMJ-BT?
I don't have a quickload listing for that bullet but I have an IMI produced FMJ-BT which shows 0.872" long.
