    primer suggestions

I just got back from the gun show in Reno yesterday. I'm just getting into reloading, so I'm not very knowlegable. There was no powder or primers at the show, Cabelas, Sportsman's Warehouse, or Scheels. The only primers I could find were at Silver State Guns. They were CCI Large Rifle Benchshooters. I found one can of RL-19 powder at Scheels, and bought it. I'm trying to load for a .257 Roberts. Scheels also had the Nosler Partition 120 gr. bullets on sale, so I bought 200 of them. I bought the primers, but was wondering if I should order the Remington or Winchester from the Cabela's catalog. They charge an extra $20.00 for mail order shipments of powder and primers. Any suggestions?

Those CCI LR BR primers should work very well.

I agree with buffybuster, although I had better results with Federal match primers in my M-1A and Remington 700 in 308 Win.

all i'm shooting right now are BR-2s. i have had very consistent results with them. it's hard to switch back to non-BR primers after shooting these.... maybe it wont make that much a differerence at all....
