Hey neighbors,
Do you guys have any experience with brass processing services? I am interested in sending them 2000 pieces of 5.56 for the works.
I have found several online but I was hoping for first hand experience.
Thanks in advance.
Update:
Before I start I should answer some guys here in the thread. I usually do my own prep but I got behind. A lot. I was working long hours and when I would get back from a range trip I didn't have time. I had to get back out on the road so everything went into a 5 gallon bucket.
Now I am retired so hopefully things will change.
I decided to go with M&S Processed Brass in Clinton Indiana for my first time using a brass processing service.
The procedure was very straight forward. I purchased their service online for 1500 pieces of 223 brass. It was $85. I then packed a medium flat rate box with 1500 pieces of my range brass.
I paid to ship it to Indiana. It was $22.80 for shipping plus $85 for the service. Return shipping is free. $107.80 total or $.07 per case.
I got it back today and they are beautiful. I am pretty happy.
In the future I will try to keep up with processing my own empties but it is good to know they are options out there if I get behind.
