Silver Cases- Reloadable?

I have some spent round that came in a nice silver looking case. Its not brass. Is it reloadable?

nice shiny silver is probably nickel-plated brass, which is reloadable. If it is a dull, satiny silver, it is probably aluminum, which not reloadable. The AL case is very light compared to brass, nickel basically ways the same a plain brass.

It is most likely nickel plating. It was originally designed for people who carried their ammo in leather loops. The nickel plating kept the tannins in the leather from corroding the brass. Along similar lines, nickel is less apt to corrode in a in tropic/humid environments. Also it makes for a slightly harder casing which is more difficult to work with and can degrade dies slightly faster (doesn't stop me).
