I finally worked out a shot load that works in my old army, #933 of first thousand made. Wrap around twice a bread bag sheet on a .438 dia 7/16 inch dowel or pin. Tie off one end with floss or thin copper wire, Fill tube with 190-210 grains of 8 or 9 shot, tie off other end and melt each end shut. Charge with 20-22 grains fffg, 1-2 card board wads, compress powder, a dowel will be needed to compress, ease in shot bag., one more wad, compress shot bag lightly, then grease. A 25 foot snake load. I have no idea what velocity the load generates but I wanted a half ounce of shot. A fly tying vise would really speed up processing the shot bags.

Sounds kinda scary to me. Home made ammo in an old gun?Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.
