    107 SMK bullets?

Picked up a box of sierra match kings at angeles the other day. The box says for 1-7 to 1-8 twist barrels. My 243 is a 1-9.25 twist, should i bother trying these or just wait until i get a new barrel?

107gr will be too heavy/long for your barrel.

    I use the 107s in a 6mmBR with a 1:8" twist.

Mid 90s are about as heavy as you want to go.

Try it and see. Some guys have got them to work in factory 1 in 9.25 barrels. Same with the 105 Amax.

I've shot 100 grainers out of the 1:10" twist 243. You won't know until you try them.
