My reloading Web site is back online

For several years, I've had a Web site with free, downloadable "how-to" videos on reloading your own ammunition. I did this as a "pay it forward" thing because so many others had helped me get started.

However....

Seems the provider that I was using didn't like pro-2A things being hosted on their servers. They kicked me off some time ago, which is why my Web site was offline. That really sucked, because I had just upgraded to a 100Mbps connection.

This was made worse by the fact that anti-2A nutcases are reporting my YouTube uploads of these videos, and the YouTubers have been gradually taking them down. So, I cannot use YouTube as a fallback, either.

Fortunately, I own the domain name, so that provider couldn't take that from me.

Soooo.....

My reloading Web site, http://www.sanfranciscoliberalwithagun.com, is now hosted in my home, as of tonight. I got a 100Mbps connection, static IP addresses, all that good stuff. If someone wants to kick me offline now, they'll have to either break into my home and smash my computer gear, or climb some very tall telephone poles and cut the line.

That also means that my pro-2A podcast, the Liberal's Gun Corner, is also back online. It's time to make some new episodes.

My pleasure. Like I said, plenty of people have helped me. And when I get my hands on some of the new gear, especially that Lee Pro 6000 six-stage press, it'll be time to make some new reloading videos as well.

The reason it's old-school HTML? It's simpler that way to edit and update.

I'm considering doing that, though there really isn't a compelling need, since nobody's putting in login credentials, banking info, etc. Perhaps LetsEncrypt is a good solution.

I really enjoyed your website, and I found the two articles you wrote on the Second Amendment very interesting. It would be nice if you could do a few lectures in California, you could be the voice to make real change here.

Been using that new Lee Pro 6000 press to pump out some .45 ACP. My cameralady, Miss--er, correction, Mrs. BHC and I are going to do a video series about it! As with progressive presses generally, the thing is pretty fast.

I'll first post it on the Web site. I'll also do a podcast episode about the press. Seriously, I think this thing's going to give the Dillon XL650/750 press some fairly serious competition, and I know that because I also have an XL650 and can thus compare them back-to-back.
