    Vintage powder - any value

A while back a friend mine gave me three tins of powder as he knew I reloaded. I don't have any need for them, but didn't if it had any value,.probably more in the tin than in the powder.

If the powder is still good you can use it. Finding load data and the proper components for shotshell will be another issue in itself. I'm sure the Dupont tin has a collector value to it. I normally collect Hercules powder tins myself. Use it as decor in the reloading room or trade for something you can use, like brass, bullets or ammo. I would probably give you $5 for one of the Super Balistite. Just because I have one lonely Alcan tin that doesn't fit in with my collection.

If nothing else the powder makes for a great fertilizer.

Well, if you come up to sac area you're welcome to it. I believe it's mostly shotgun powder and I don't reload for shotgun.

        Pretty cool cans.

There's a bunch of old cans on ebay with quite the (asking) price range, but few actual bids.
