Any use for old primer boxes?

I have a few empty 100 count primer boxes with the plastic inserts. Before I toss them into the trash, has anyone found another use for them? Just wanted to know before they get recycled.

I throw them right in the recycling bin when I empty them.

I use dryer lint as kindling in my emergency kit along with some waterproof matches. Even better if you roll it into balls and add some Vaseline.

I use the cardboard sleeve to write load data on. Tear the square top and bottom pieces off and write on the white side. Fit perfectly in plastic ammo boxes and they're always in arms reach.

LOL on the dryer lint. So I use one weeks worth for kindling and weave the rest into some off gray furry looking shirt?

That's an idea. I'll save the outer cardboard to write notes onto.

toss the dryer lint and just use a road flare.
If I prime brass and do not load it right away---I often do. I take the primer carboard part and put it in with the brass so I know what primers I used.

Empty primer trays are very useful for measuring out steel pellets when loading steel shot. You just cover the holes you don’t need and scoop up the exact number of steel pellets- very fast and accurate method if your shot shell loader won’t dispense steel pellets properly (like Lee Load All 2).
