    This is pretty cool.

10mm load data - 45 powders, 81 bullets, 843 loads. Load data with chronograph results / QuickLoad predictions.

800x meters intolerably bad. So does 700x for that matter. Neither do anything you can't get from a *far* better metering powder.

Max load of unique gives you about 1150 fps with a 180. In 40sw a max load gives you about 1050. Unique is going to be light in 10mm no matter what. I'd probably try 7gr. It'll run the gun and be light.

Blue dot gets you the cannon loads. 1300 fps with a 180gr.

I want to say it's 800x, but it may be 700, that the older Sierra load manuals show 13.4g with a 135 Nosler projectile. I only went up to 13.1, and don't really recommend even that. I loaded and shot some of that and it's very fun, and very fast. Out of my long fully supported LW barrel, I was getting somewhere around 1700fps. I'd have to go find load data and notes to be sure of what it was and how it performed. It was a VERY full case that needed to be tapped on the bench to settle the powder before seating the bullet.

          I didn't realize 800x was discontinued either. I've got 6 or 8 lbs. Guess I'll cherish it!

Shot these yesterday, they worked real well. We just shot steel.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Good to hear. I ended up with 8.0 of 800x. Loaded a mag full. Will go try them at the range when I'm off work for Thanksgiving.

Good to hear...let me know how thing go.

I'm pretty set on W231 and HP-38 (same powders) I'd be more then happy to share some with you, at least enough to load 100+ rounds to try out. Of course there has to be some trust there. I'm not far from Apple Valley.

Phillip's in Covina has HP-38 in stock

Just an update, fired my 50rds with 8.0 of 800x. They were very good shooting rounds. Nice tight grouping at 50 yards and mild recoil (granted I am using a 6" barrel and stainless long slide). I will use the rest of my powder with this load

Most of the metering complaints come from progressive users. It's not that hard to get repeatable drops with a stand-alone measure.

I’ve used 800x, blue dot and long shot. I prefer the longshot just because I use it for my 9mm loads as well and you get really good velocity. 800x is great for getting higher velocity with lower pressure if I remember correctly but as others have mentioned it meters poorly. If you were local I’d give you some longshot to try but it looks like you are down south.

Maybe I should use up this pound of 800X too.
